But frankly this little locket is a bit too gruesome for me – click here to see

Almost surely Victorian, you really have to ask yourself ‘What WERE they thinking?’ Listed as ‘Unusual Vintage Opening Teeth Silver Locket Pendant’ I can’t help wondering what story lies behind this one.
The Victorians were very big on memorial jewelry, keeping bits of hair nails and even teeth from a loved one in charms, set in gold or sterling, sometimes on watch fobs; could this perhaps be the remains of a beloved (albeit small) pet?
Rarely will I say a charm is one of a kind – the whole push of charms was and is that they are made in larger numbers, an affordable popular collectible, made personal by the way you choose to combine them and the stories they tell about your life. If you loose one the world won’t end; you will surely find it again someday. I must make an exception to that with this little guy though – I sincerely doubt you’ll find another like him again!
If I had the cash to blow I think he’d have to go on my Halloween bracelet, just for the EEEEWWWW factor.
